Terms and conditions


These are the Terms Conditions of Lentina Travel Company.

1) Clients are responsible for travel arrangements to/from tours organized by Lentina Travel Company.

2) Clients are responsible for their own safety in all walking and interior tours: crossing roads, using steps, etc.

3) Clients are responsible for themselves and children wearing a seat belt in tour vehicles.

4) No food or drink to be consumed in tour vehicles except by permission of the driver.

5) The guide, driver or operator reserves the right to terminate any tour for unreasonable behavior.

6) Lentina Travel Company is not liable for reduced itineraries owing to late start/delays by the client.

7) The price of the tour does not reduce in case on the tour day the client decides to skip some of the attractions or finish the tour earlier than planned. If the client would like to add some attractions to the tour, some additional costs may be applied.

8) Lentina Travel Company is not liable for reduced itineraries owing to unscheduled closures by attractions.

9) Lentina Travel Company is not liable for reduced itineraries owing to delays caused by traffic congestion.

10) Lentina Travel Company is not liable for reduced itineraries owing to delays caused by Cruise line sudden change of the ship's arrival and departure schedule.

11) Lentina Travel Company is not liable for reduced itineraries owing to stormy/rainy weather. 

12) Reservations:

  • Bookings are dealt with on a one-to-one basis via e-mail only.
  • To secure your preferred date we recommend booking well in advance.
  • All tours subject to availability. Booking will not go ahead until availability is confirmed.
  • Administration fees may be added for extensive itineraries or supplementary guide/driver hire.
  • We usually pre-book tickets for attractions. We charge about 30% of the total tour cost to buy the tickets 3-4 weeks before the tour date. The entrance tickets are non-refundable after purchase so the deposit is non-refundable after the tickets have been bought. Tickets that are paid for according to your additional orders (e.g. theater tickets) in advance are non-refundable.

14) What the Price Includes: Your quoted tour price includes:

  • Qualified guide services.
  • Qualified driver services.
  • Vehicle rent for the time of the tour or part of the tour
  • Tour fuel costs, parking rates, driving charges and tolls.
  • All local taxes and any other fees agreed at time of booking.
  • Entrance fees to attractions and activities included into the tour itinerary (hydrofoil tickets, boat tour tickets, subway tokens etc)
  • Permission for amateur photo/video (with some exceptions)
  • Cost of headphones for groups of 6 pax or more
  • Tour tickets for cruise ship passengers

Your quoted tour price does NOT include:

  • Meals or refreshments unless specifically ordered
  • Public transport fares.
  • Flights or accommodation unless specifically ordered.
  • Transfers from airports or pick-ups unless specifically ordered
  • Extra parking rates/fines through excessive delays by client.
  • Gratuities or tips (at client's discretion).

15) Date of Departure & Collection Timings: These are subject to change or cancellation, should unforeseen circumstances occur. Please reconfirm at time of booking.

16) Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles and in general in the streets in Russia, there is a law forbidding smoking anywhere but the specially indicated smoking areas.

17) Food and drink: in the interest of safety we ask that no hot food or drinks are carried on board of the vehicle

18) Students: get a discount depending on the number of museums indicated in the tour program. Students must bring an ISIC card with them on the day of travel.
     Children: Children under six go free.

19) Amendments: Amendments will be made upon your request if possible. Theatre tickets, lunch and dinner products, and attraction tickets cannot be amended.

20) Personal Insurance: Is not provided.

21) Luggage: Some museum rules forbid bringing large bags into the museum. Your guide will advise on this matter. You may leave your bags in the museum’s cloak-room or leave it in the vehicle with the driver. Luggage is carried at the client's own risk and must be collected by the client.

22) For group tours we may, at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour, if we deem their acts or conduct offensive, or a nuisance to other tourists, and we shall have no further liability. We also reserve the right to alter at any time any price, place visited, itinerary or hotel owing to unforeseen circumstances. Every endeavour will be made to advise clients in advance of any alterations that are deemed necessary. In the event of any client not being carried for any cause whatsoever, no liability will be accepted by the operators beyond the refund of the fares. Should the client fail to arrive or arrive late at the starting point or during the tour, then no liability can be accepted.

23) Headphones with receivers for group tours are provided free of charge to all the tour participants when there are 6 or more persons in the group. A visit to some museums is forbidden without them. In case of a loss or damage of the receiver or headphones the client has to repair the damage by paying compensation. 

24) Passports & Visas: A Passport valid for all countries to be visited must be carried and you must ascertain from your Travel Agent what visas are required.

25) Accident or Loss: We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employees negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the refund of the tour cost. We do not own or manage the train, ships, vehicles, accommodation and restaurants used and we have no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or operators thereof.

26) Payment

All the payment details are stated in your tour confirmation.

We charge the deposit 3-4 weeks prior to the tour date via an online transaction through our bank's secure payment web page or with a POS-terminal in our office. The rest can be paid cash to your guide or company's representative directly.

All tours must be guaranteed with a deposit payment or fully paid for in advance.

If you would like to make a full payment in advance please do so using:

All prices on this website are inclusive of tax.

Please note, that the tour rates are fixed in USD for your convenience, however the card payments have to be processed in RUR since Lentina is registered in Russia. To determine the sum of payment in RUR we use the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia on the date of payment.

We do not accept cheques.

We do not store customer financial information, credit card or debit card details.

27) Cancellation and refund policy

If you decide to cancel your tour, please send us a written notification.

You are welcome to cancel your tour no later than 3-4 weeks prior to your tour date with no charges made to your credit card (except for the non-refundable charges for additional orders and cost of the entrance tickets that have been bought for you because after we pay for the entrance tickets, they are non-refundable to us).

Card payments are made in RUR since Lentina is registered in Russia. The refunds to the cards are also made in RUR. Keep in mind, that some part of the sum may be lost or gained at the process due to the currency exchange rate fluctuation.

Unfortunately, we do NO refund for Additional Orders once the order has been purchased for you (like ballet or folk-show tickets or transfer order).

In case a client does not arrive by an appointed time to the place where services start to be granted:

an order for transfer will be held for 2 hours starting from an appointed time, then it will be cancelled automatically

an order for a personal tour guide and other additional services (interpreters, private driver, etc.) will be cancelled after 2 hours.

If a client books a small group tour and fails to show up on time at the meeting point, the client has to contact Lentina Travel Company by cell +7921 7477815 or skype: and inform the company about the delay. In general, the group will wait for the client for no longer than 20 minutes, then the tour wil go ahead as planned.and the client will have to catch the group on it's route on hes own (extra charges may apply).

The additional 20-25% tour cost cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card in case of a NO-SHOW or less than 24-hour cancellation. (the total of 50% of the tour cost)

Refund claims must be raised within 7 days of the tour date.

If you don't feel comfortable with your tour guide or driver or the vehicle, please contact us IMMEDIATELY so that we can resolve any issues you may have while you are on tour. Refund claims based on these reasons will not be accepted after the tour is over.

We offer a full immediate refund, or alternatively, a discount on a rearranged tour, if a tour cannot go ahead for any reason, and the fault is accepted by Lentina Travel Company.

In the event that a venue is not visited due to unforeseen circumstances and the fault is accepted by Lentina Travel Company, an amount, equal to the value of the admission will be refunded in full.

Clients should acquire adequate insurance to cover any loss as a consequence of flight cancellations, personal illness, or circumstances causing the tour to be cancelled beyond control of Lentina Travel Company or its partners.

28) General Conditions: No servant or agent of ours can vary our conditions and any such purported variation shall be of no effect unless it has been signed by our Director. All matters concerning this booking shall be subject to Russian Law.
