St. Petersburg is a huge unique and complex world. Three lives won't be enough to see all St. Petersburg highlights and understand its real essence. St. Petersburg rose from the marshy banks of the River Neva to become a distinctly European city known as Peter the Great's Window to the West. It is very different from "traditional" Russian cities which are much older, like Moscow, Pskov, Novgorod and many others. The best way to get acquainted with the city is of course by visiting its absolute must-see landmarks, the spots that you see in the guide books or on the post cards. We have included all the "not-to miss" sites in our St. Petersburg Highlights sightseeing tours, taking into account the best spots to take pictures too.

Notes for the participants of our St. Petersburg Highlights tour
Sightseeing tour is the easiest one to arrange, the route can be designed according to your wishes and interests, inside tours can be added to turn it into a full-day tour itinerary. Some part of the general city tour is always included in all our full-day itineraries. We certainly offer a bus tour as well as walking tour as an introduction to St. Petersburg so you can choose either one. Of course the bus tour is more comfortable and more ground can be covered by car/bus but the walking tour may include a metro ride as well as using local public transportation so walking tour option allows you to blend in with the locals and see the every-day life of St. Petersburg as closely as possible.
